'Swooping Low' Owl Wood Carving

Hand carved in Indonesia the wood is called "parasite" wood. The burls form on various trees and the burls are cut leaving the host tree intact and unharmed. The carvers create whimsical figures and animals from the natural form. Every piece is unique. This owl measures approximately 3.5in tall and 4in deep with a 9in wingspan.
