This skeleton shadow box, or "nicho", as these are called in Spanish, is perfect for a Day of the Dead altar, or for year round decorations for those of you who just like Day of the Dead skeleton artwork.

Dia de los Muertos, as it is also called, celebrates and remembers the dead in Mexico. From mid-October through the first week of November, markets and shops all over Mexico sell special art and foods honoring the dead, many in the form of skulls and skeletons.
