Late in the 1800's a man named Jose Guadalupe Posada created La Catrina's image to mimic high society cultured women in a satirical fashion. She is now the most recognizable image of the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration which falls right after Halloween in the Mexican calendar year. She is featured on this mirror along with other skeleton figures. Painted glass mounted on wood measuring 14inT and 10inW.
